Cole Melcher is from Hendersonville, TN, and has lived in Nashville for over 30 years. He has been married to his wife Katy for nine years, has two boys (Lincoln & Grayson), and a loving pup named Emmy. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. After college, Cole began working in marketing for a fortune 500 big-box retail company. After a few years of doing that, he decided he wanted to go out on his own. He loved real estate, and had been investing for several years at this point, so that seemed like a natural fit. With this education and experience, Cole has the knowledge and expertise to properly prepare and market a home for sale.
Cole has over 25 years of sales experience, is a Certified Negotiation Expert through the Negotiation Institute, and a Real Estate Negotiation Expert through the National Association of Realtors. With his combined experience and education, he knows how to negotiate the best deal for you whether you are buying or selling.
Cole has been in the real estate business since 2008, and holds a broker's license in the state of Tennessee & Kentucky. He has successfully closed well in excess of 200 real estate transactions, has been featured on HGTV, received the top agent award from Trulia in 2014 & 2105, Platinum Agent award in 2015, and was placed in the top 100 agents in the Nashville market in 2017.
In 2021, during the Covid lockdowns, Cole took a sabbatical from real estate to recharge his batteries. He and his wife decided to tackle a decade-long dream of buying a sailboat and island hopping in the Bahamas. They took their two boys to Maryland where they bought their boat, and sailed it down the east coast and into the Bahamas.
Upon returning from their adventures refreshed and recharged, Cole decided to tackle another dream. In 2022 he started Graylinc Development which focuses on building affordable single-family homes in the Nashville & Southern Kentucky markets.
